This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting the LGS Workshop with the Foreign Languages Department of Uğur Schools—an event that has now become a tradition! Over three days, we came together to discuss, learn, and collaborate on effective LGS exam preparation.
We started at the Universal ELT office, where we welcomed the Deputy General Manager and teachers. The sessions began with an in-depth look at our digital platform, Pickatale, followed by a discussion on the LGS preparation materials we provide.
Next, we dived into the heart of the workshop with trainer and author Ümit Barışkan. Together, we explored LGS question types through the lens of Bloom’s Taxonomy, focusing on key points to consider when crafting exam questions. After an insightful session, we returned to the office for a hands-on review of our newest publications.
To end the weekend on a refreshing note, we gathered for a relaxing breakfast in nature, giving everyone a chance to unwind before heading back to their cities.
It was an inspiring and productive experience, and we’re already looking forward to the next one!
